Kale Seed Oil Certificate of Analysis

If you want to sell a food product on an online marketplace, like Amazon, you need a ‘Certificate of Analysis’ (COA).

Basically, a COA is a report that goes over test results for the current batch of food product that you are sending.  Below, you can see the first COA that I had completed to Kale Oil.  For the sake of transparency and honesty, I want to make all science about Kale Seed Oil open to the public.

One other good reason to get a COA done for every batch of product you manufacture is that you can compare the data from one batch to the next.

If you are high in one chemical, you may want to watch it closely.  If you see fluctuations in the COA data from batch to batch, you may want to identify what variable is not consistent in your manufacturing process.
